With her “Sculptural Lift” and intraoral massages, massage therapist Kiki Frericks ensures that you shine inside and out.

Kiki Frericks: What she does

In her Hamburg studio, Kiki Frericks treats faces and bodies with her miracle hands. Her secret: a mix of many disciplines – lymphatic drainage, Ayurveda, Gua Sha massage and energy work are incorporated into her holistic treatments. The “Sculptural Facelift” method according to Yakov Gershkovich, including intraoral “buccal” massage, is particularly popular because it is intended to improve the shape of the face and tighten the features.

That’s how she works

“We spend a lot of time discussing the skin’s needs. I tailor each treatment to the person and vary it with tools such as Gua Sha stones, Kansa Wand or Ice Cubes, but the most important instrument is my fingers. After cleansing, the activation follows Lymph with a fine brush. Then I massage along the sculptural lines – jaw, chin, cheekbones, eyebrows and forehead – sometimes more gently, sometimes with firm pressure. For the intraoral part, I go into the mouth with my index fingers and massage the inside, with the I work on the outside of the cheek with my thumb. Then I switch and massage the chin and jaw area from the inside with my thumb. This strengthens the elasticity of the tissue, loosens the muscles, stimulates collagen and elastin and also relaxes those who grind their teeth. The skin is supplied with blood and fresher, the mind more relaxed.”

Kiki’s extra tip for at home

In the morning after showering, use lymphatic brushes and brush your chest, neck, neck and face. It takes less than five minutes and your complexion is immediately more radiant.
