Two successful companies, advertising income and reality TV: Kim Kardashian is now a billionaire, as “Forbes” has calculated.

Kim Kardashian (40) is now a billionaire, as the “Forbes” magazine estimates. She owes this to her two lucrative companies KKW Beauty and Skims as well as the profits from the reality series “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and advertising contracts. According to Forbes its value is said to have risen from 780 million US dollars in October 2020 to one billion US dollars, the equivalent of around 842 million euros.

The billionaire’s entrepreneurial road to success: The reality star started KKW Beauty in 2017 after the make-up company Kylie Cosmetics had already become a huge success for her half-sister Kylie Jenner (23). Then the 40-year-old sold 20 percent of KKW Beauty for 200 million US dollars to the cosmetics company Coty. In the deal, the company was valued at $ 1 billion. In 2019, she also founded the shapewear company Skims, which also offers loungewear during the pandemic.
