Separated from Kanye West for a year and rather discreet on this highly publicized subject, Kim Kardashian returned to the reasons which led her to divorce in the columns of the magazine Vogue US which she covers.
The entrepreneur, influencer and mother of four children, the fruit of her union with Kanye West, has only raised the subject on rare occasions, preferring to settle the separation in private. If last June, however, she had mentioned the causes of her divorce in the last episode of the reality TV show “Keeping up with the Kardashians”, explaining “feeling alone”, she returned more in depth to the motivations of this breakup. Even if it means feeling alone, you might as well be happy and think of yourself, this is essentially what Kim Kardashian explained in the columns of the American magazine.

A need to think about her
“For so long I did what made other people happy,” the mum of North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm explained, before continuing, “I think over the past two years I’ve decided that I was going to make myself happy”. A decision that “does him good, even if it created changes and caused my divorce”, continues the forty-year-old, who explains having “chosen” herself. “I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I chose myself. I think it’s ok to choose yourself.
A new philosophy of life

The star, who turned 40 in October 2020, talks about her new philosophy. My 40 years is to be “Team Me”. I will eat well. I will train myself. I will have more fun, spend more time with my children and the people who make me happy,” she says. Children she wishes to preserve from this divorce. No question according to Kim Kardashian to put them at odds between her and Kanye West, she pointed out. “Even though you might be hurt or mad at your ex, I think in front of the kids it should always be ‘Your dad is the best.’ Make sure you’re your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader no matter what you’re going through personally.”
Should we see a new message for Kanye West, when the artist recently openly criticized his ex for letting their eldest daughter use TikTok without his permission? A public criticism to which Kim Kardashian had reacted, also publicly, stating that “Kanye’s constant need to attack (her) in his interviews and social networks causes more harm than any TikTok video that North could create”. It remains to be seen now if Kim Kardashian’s new message went well.
