Due to an error in Amazon’s coupon system, it was briefly possible to order Kindle and Co. free of charge in Brazil.
As reported by the R7 website, the bug meant that once a discount coupon had been applied, it could be applied multiple times to an order. This is how some users managed to lower the price to 0 Real.

At times, lists with up to 20 discount coupons that could be used several times are said to have circulated online, R7 continues. Amazon itself confirmed the error to the magazine and stated that it was quickly fixed and that affected customers were contacted.
It is unclear whether they are allowed to keep the goods or were subsequently asked to pay by Amazon. We’ll tell you here, at least where you can legally download free e-books.
