After being diagnosed with cancer, he makes his way to Sandringham

King Charles is suffering from cancer. A few hours after the diagnosis was announced, Prince Harry rushed to London. However, the monarch is now due to travel to Sandringham in Norfolk to continue his treatments there.
On Monday evening, February 5, 2024, just a few days after King Charles, 75, underwent prostate surgery – the palace has announced that the monarch has cancer. “During recent hospital treatment for benign prostate enlargement, another problem of concern was identified. Subsequent diagnostic testing revealed a form of cancer,” the official statement said. On Tuesday afternoon, February 6th, Prince Harry, 39, landed in London to support his father. Now Charles is supposed to retire to Sandringham.

King Charles wants to continue his treatments on the estate in Norfolk, where the Royal Family traditionally spends Christmas. This is reported by several correspondents, including royal expert Chris Ship via X, formerly Twitter: “The King is about to leave London and return to Sandringham, where he will continue his recovery after his cancer treatment begins.” Ship also “heard” that Charles and Harry saw each other at Buckingham Palace. “After father and son speak, King Charles and Queen Camilla will return to Sandringham in Norfolk. Presumably for the rest of the week,” he writes, adding that this information has not yet been confirmed.
However, Daily Mail editor Richard Eden also posted this on his account: “After his 5,000-mile flight from Los Angeles, Prince Harry is said to have had a brief meeting with King Charles before His Majesty returned to his Norfolk retreat, Sandringham, left. It will be interesting to see how long Harry stays in this country.” It also remains to be seen where Prince Harry will stay during his stay. He finally had to vacate his former home in Great Britain, Frogmore Cottage, last summer.
