On the day of the release of the first three episodes of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s Netflix documentary, King Charles ventured out in public and attended an event at King’s Cross Church. He was also asked about the documentary.

While the world seems to stand still today (December 8) because of the Netflix documentary by Prince Harry, 38, and Duchess Meghan, 41, it just keeps turning for the British royal family.

So was it good for King Charles, 74, that he wasn’t able to step down this Thursday and discuss ways to avert the damage the documentary would do to the family? Perhaps, as it was a distraction for the monarch as he attended an event at King’s Cross Church to meet with representatives from the Christian community and various local charities.

Although, even there, Charles wasn’t safe from the subject. According to Royal correspondent Richard Palmer at “Express”, the king should not have responded to a question about the documentary. “The King was asked if he had seen Harry and Meghan’s Netflix series and, predictably, he dodged the question.” Charles reportedly didn’t even bat an eyelid or show any other emotion. Instead, he is said to have waved to the waiting fans and quickly entered the building.

Prince Harry is ignored as punishment

Of course, it’s no surprise that Charles behaves extremely professionally in public and refuses to be provoked into reacting in any way. Even if the 74-year-old is said to be the one in the family who worries most, he would never respond. King Charles prefers a completely different method: publicly ignoring the issue.

As for Harry and Meghan, he is said to use the same tactics. “Harry will always be a prince. The only thing they can do is not invite her to the coronation and sever all ties – a clear separation from the Sussexes. Basically, that’s all they can do,” says Royal- Expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun.
