King Frederik
This billionaire was allowed to sit next to the Danish king
King Frederik has recently been on a state visit to Poland – his first solo trip as a monarch. A banquet was held there in his honor, and during the dinner the Regent had an extremely interesting person sitting next to him.
King Frederik, 55, and Queen Mary, 51, were actually supposed to travel to Poland together. According to Dana Press, this was announced in an internal email in December last year. However, after the change of throne on January 14, 2024, the palace announced that the new regent would make the visit alone. He will now be in Warsaw from January 31st to February 2nd. On his first evening in Poland, a state banquet was held, at which a well-known businesswoman sat next to him.
King Frederik attends a gala dinner in Poland
“Energy efficiency, climate-smart agriculture and biogas will be the focus when His Majesty the King leads a Danish business delegation to Poland from January 31 to February 2, 2024,” the palace said on its official Instagram account in reference to Frederik’s trip. The evening after King Frederik’s arrival in Poland, President Andrzej Duda, 51, held a gala dinner. Queen Mary’s husband gave a speech on site.
SHE was allowed to sit next to the monarch
The dinner was attended by both Danish and Polish businessmen involved in the campaign to promote green businesses. Pictures from the banquet show that the 55-year-old appeared to have had a fun evening. He was obviously able to have a good chat with the person sitting next to him; they often laughed together.
And she is no stranger: the woman is Dominika Kulczyk, 46, a Polish entrepreneur and billionaire. She is the daughter of Jan Kulczyk, †65, who died in 2015 and was considered the richest man in Poland. Dominika was president of the Polish branch of the International Green Cross for several years. She also serves as chairwoman of the Kulczyk Foundation, a philanthropic organization. So it’s no wonder that Frederik and Dominika haven’t run out of topics to talk about.
