It was during the Nintendo Direct in September 2021 that we had the announcement of the next game from the Kirby license entitled Kirby and the Forgotten World.. This new 3D opus will allow us to travel in a colorful world by embodying Kirby, a small pink being who has the particularity of being able to suck up a fairly impressive amount of things, including his enemies. It is also by swallowing them that he can unlock various and varied powers.
In the trailer, we can see some of them like the one allowing to use a sword or the one allowing to spin like a tornado. The game will also offer its share of new powers such as Explorer allowing you to shoot your enemies, but also Drill which will allow you to dig underground. By adding new powers to his arsenal, Kirby will have new ways to overcome his enemies, but also to get out of certain situations.
This game seems to be following in the footsteps of a Mario Odyssey and so it’s no wonder that we find a coop mode in which one player will embody the little pink creature while the second will embody Bandana. If Kirby can use different powers depending on the enemies he sucks in, Bandana will be able to count on his spear with which he can hit his enemies or even throw it. That’s not all, since we also discover the Waddle Deep village which will allow you to breathe while participating in mini-games, fishing or even talking to the inhabitants before going on an adventure.
The scholars of the village will be able to advise you or even help you by giving you clues on the location of special objects. Some may also allow you to compare your achievements with other players. Moreover, what we also notice in this trailer is that it is possible to use your star to fly away to move more easily on the map.
We were also able to discover certain enemies as well as two bosses, who will wait for you wisely in the Forgotten World. by March 25, 2022 for the release of the game. Thereafter, we have various environments combining snowy territories, desert areas or even an amusement park. And for your final touch, it’s Meta Knight who comes to rub shoulders with Kirby to end this trailer with dignity.
