Kissing and Other Vital Things: Storyline

Helen has always lived a low-risk life, and successfully so – more or less. However, when she is newly divorced and devastated, she decides to make a change in the way she lives. Without further ado, she signs up for a survival training course that includes a long-distance hike on the Appalachian Trail, which she completes with a group of strangers.

She is ready to face the diverse challenges and pursues the goal of being the best. What she does not yet suspect is that during the journey she not only gets to know herself, but also a man who is charming in a certain way.

Ellie Kemper (“The Office”, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”) takes on the leading role of young Helen. Next to her is “Yellowstone” actor Luke Grimes as Jake in front of the camera.

Also starring are Nico Santos (“Crazy Rich”), Tony Award winner Blythe Danner, Ben Cook (“Pretty Little Liars – Original Sin”), Shayvawn Webster, Esteban Benito, Gusbirney and Julia Shiplett.
