KitchenAid presents a new color for its food processor with a matching bowl

KitchenAid is renowned for the quality of its products, but also for their aesthetics. The “Artisan” pastry robot is obviously no exception and benefits from multiple colors that can be combined with all work surfaces. If the manufacturer offers a new shade every year in March, it also recently launched the “Design Series” collection. Each new edition is based on a duo made up of a pastry robot and a bowl, both innovative in their colour, material or design; the goal being to obtain a new and very stylish combination. And unlike the color of the year, which is applicable to multiple KitchenAid appliances, the Design Series color is only available for the food processor.

This year, Blossom is appearing in the KitchenAid catalog. The water green color of the robot, with a satin effect, covers its entire body and the headband reveals a discreet vegetal detail.

The 4.8 l bowl, on the other hand, completely breaks with the habits of the American manufacturer and adopts copper-plated stainless steel as its design material. KitchenAid wanted it hammered to remind “the metal forged by the hands of a craftsman”. The user can therefore choose to let it shine or acquire a patina over time. We do, however, have a small downside to its design: the tank abandons its single traditional handle for two side handles. This choice is not the most practical and can unbalance the bowl during handling.

The Blossom is marketed today at €869 under the reference “180”, that is to say the premium model from KitchenAid. It comes with a stainless steel pastry kit consisting of a whisk, a flat beater, a pastry mixer and a hook. Just like its colleagues, it is compatible with the twenty or so accessories sold in addition by the manufacturer. Finally, it also benefits from the planetary movement, which is essential to properly abound the whole preparation.
