Chic in knits is popular again in autumn. In 2023, it is the combination of dress and belt that will appeal to fashionistas.
Many designers presented their fall collections at Fashion Week in New York last week. One person who impressed the stars with his It pieces was Michael Kors. Celebrity women like Vanessa Hudgens, 34, Olivia Wilde, 39, and Elsa Hosk, 34, slipped into one of the coveted knitted dresses for the fashion show, which are currently becoming a real hype. In 2023, these will primarily be worn with a wide belt.
Different cuts and colors
“High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens, for example, sat down on a skin-tight, short knitted model with a turtleneck in camel that showed off her toned figure perfectly. She paired it with a cape coat and suede boots in the same color. A wide, asymmetrical snake-look belt with a silver buckle added that certain something – a successful tone-on-tone look that is perfect for autumn.
Elsa Hosk came to the fashion show in New York a little more casual. She wore a chunky knit dress with a looser cut and a turtleneck. She tied a wide dark brown belt around her hips. Crossbody bag and heeled suede boots picked up the color of the belt. Flat sneakers, loafers or chunky Chelsea boots also work just as well.
Currently, knitted dresses can also be found much longer, like in this midi cut. Both sporty sneakers and chic boots with a high shaft and heel go well with this. The belt gives the dress a chic touch in no time. The batwing sleeves are an additional eye-catcher.

If you want something more chic, the dresses can be perfectly styled with a blazer or elegant coat. If you want it to be more sporty, oversized denim jackets or leather jackets are suitable. Our tip: Don’t wear a cardigan when combining, as the look could appear very monotonous. Instead, it is better to use a different material.
