In a few weeks, TF1 will kick off a new season of Koh-Lanta. In this adventure called “The Immunity Hunters”, 20 Robinsons will compete against each other using immunity necklaces. Point.
Koh Lanta, It’s go again ! In a few weeks, TF1 will kick off a new season of its flagship adventure game. In this new odyssey tour to the east of the Philippines, on the majestic island of Luzon, 20 adventurers (10 men and 10 women) will put on their red and yellow scarves to compete physically, psychologically and… strategically! This year, strategy will be at the heart of the mechanics of the game, as Julien Magne, general director of ALP, revealed during a press conference held Monday January 8 in Paris.
“The principle is quite simple. At all times, in Koh-Lanta, you must do everything to avoid being chased. Chased out of adventure, chased by hostile strategies, etc. There are several ways to avoid being chased away. being hunted: winning immunity trials or searching and finding immunity necklaces. This year, we decided to add immunity necklaces. There are more than usual and some of them have new and very powerful powers which will disrupt strategies.”

Traditionally very rare in Koh Lantaimmunity necklaces will therefore rain down on Philippine beaches. “These necklaces will be hidden everywhere. On the camps, obviously, but not only. Throughout the adventure, necklaces can be found, explains Julien Magne. It’s a kind of treasure hunt with different ways, each time, of following the trail to a necklace.” But contrary to what one might believe, these numerous necklaces will not make the Robinsons’ adventure easier, quite the contrary. “When the adventurers arrive at the council, no one knows in advance how many necklaces there will be. And above all, we don’t know what their power is, confides Denis Brogniart, historic host of the show. (…) It complicates the advice, especially at the time of voting.”
And the numerous immunity necklaces are far from the only surprise awaiting the candidates of Koh-Lanta: immunity hunters. In all, around thirty trials await the 20 adventurers of Koh-Lanta: immunity hunters, including 6 to 8 unpublished. All, according to the production, are extremely competitive, and promise to surprise viewers. An entire program !
