(CercleFinance.com) – KONE Corporation announces that it has signed an agreement with NCC Sweden AB to work as a subcontractor and provide them with a suite of PeopleFlow® solutions including 11 KONE escalators and 6 KONE elevators for the new Hagastaden metro station in Stockholm. NCC Sweden AB is the main contractor for the new station.
Hagastaden, now the hub of the Stockholm region’s life sciences cluster, will be developed into a new urban district with housing, retail, culture and parks.
KONE’s delivery includes 4 KONE MonoSpace® 700 DX elevators, 2 KONE MiniSpace DX inclined elevators and 11 KONE TransitMaster™ escalators.

The project is expected to be fully completed in 2028.
