But Brie Larson does not only play the journalist and photographer Mason Weaver in the film, she has a second role, well hidden!
The scene takes place when the explorers arrive at the ruins of a stone building with traces of yellow pigments on the walls. The natives suddenly appear, threatening the small group with their spears.
Among these natives is a stern-looking character, pointing his spear at the explorers, and it is indeed Brie Larson! In theory, therefore, the actress is facing herself, although she obviously shot the scenes of Mason and the native separately.

Playing two different characters in the same movie is nothing new to cinema, although it is more often than not vocal cameos.
