“Krone” sports podcast – VSV and KAC are at floorball eye level

In the new “Einwurf” podcast episode everything revolves around floorball – a trend sport in Carinthian hands.

In the 37th episode of “Einwurf” Michael Kanduth (VSV) and Peter Mack (KAC) stand peacefully behind the microphones instead of determined to win on the field. The common goal is to present a trend sport that is gaining more and more momentum – and can also be practiced in lockdown. Trend sport between soccer and ice hockey “In floorball, physical contact is allowed, but not checking like in ice hockey,” explains Mack. Kanduth: “From that point of view, things work in a similar way to us as on the football field – only without slides, but with floorball sticks.” Carinthian statement and youth work The two floorball clubs also meet at eye level when it comes to youth work. Mack: “In a playful way, we quickly infect the youngest with our enthusiasm. At the beginning, the focus is clearly on having fun in the exercise. “Kanduth:” In our floorball kindergarten we lay the foundation for success in the years to come. In the last 60 championships, 58 titles went either to us or to the KAC. That is a Carinthian statement! ”Both clubs were able to fill out departures with their own young players and will also reach for the national championship title in 2021/22!
