The Cruise: a real cruise around the Mediterranean served as the setting for this film

For the record, the film crew went to film on a real ocean liner, the Fantasia, for three weeks, during a real cruise that went from Marseille to Genoa, then passed through Naples, Palermo, Tunisia, Palma de Mallorca, the Balearic Islands, Barcelona and finally returned to Marseille. The team therefore had to submit to the rhythm of the boat. “The captain validated the work plan, with the obligation for us not to disturb the tourists on board too much. Each place was entrusted to us for a few hours and it was up to us to be organized enough so that each necessary shot was shot there on time“, explained the director. On the other hand, the dinner scenes were shot, not on the boat, but in the Hilton hotel.
