(Boursier.com) — The new edition of S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook was officially unveiled on February 7… For the 5th consecutive year, the group Lagardere is distinguished by this annual ranking which rewards the best performing companies in environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters.
Lagardère’s rating has further improved for 2022 with a “percentile ranking” within its sector of 97/100 (93/100 in 2021).
Remember that in order to be included in the Sustainability Yearbook, companies must rank among the 15% best performers in their sector and obtain an S&P Global ESG score that is less than 30% of the score of the first company in the sector. As part of this 2023 edition, more than 7,800 companies in 61 sectors of activity were assessed. Only 708 were selected for inclusion in this ranking. In addition, the extra-financial performance of the Lagardère group is also recognized by the main ESG rating agencies such as Vigeo Eiris and Sustainalytics.
