(CercleFinance.com) – The group posted revenue of €3,027 million in the 1st half of 2022, up +45.8% in consolidated data and +38.6% like-for-like.
Lagardère Publishing’s sales amounted to E1,216 million, or +7.7% on a consolidated basis (-1.0% on a like-for-like basis). That of Lagardère Travel Retail came to 1,688 ME, or +103.2% in consolidated data (+97.2% in comparable data).
Group EBITDA stood at 107 ME, an improvement of +104 ME compared to June 2021.
Adjusted net income – Group share (which excludes non-recurring / non-operating items) amounted to 25 ME, compared to -86 ME in the 1st half of 2021.
Lagardère Publishing’s consolidated revenue is expected to be stable in 2022. ‘ Profitability should be affected by a less favorable market trend in a context of inflationary pressures on costs, thus Lagardère Publishing expects a slightly higher operating margin at 11% for the year 2022 ‘says the group.
