Lana Del Rey ended her fall tour with a special fundraising announcement, surprising her fans.

Lana Del Rey (38) wants to donate the proceeds from her tour to the respective cities in which she gave a concert. At the last performance of her fall tour, the singer announced her fundraising plans, reports “People” magazine. Their tour of the southern United States began in September. She performed in ten different cities. The aim was to present their ninth studio album, which was released last March, live.

Great success for the album and the tour

During her performance in Charleston, the capital of West Virginia, the singer said that it would seem wrong to her to keep the money for herself: “Because that’s not what it’s about for me. I know that sounds cheesy, but I tour, because I love it… I don’t need that,” said the “Summertime Sadness” singer. With this gesture she wants to thank her fans.

The singer stands out for her generosity

This isn’t the first time Del Rey has made a generous donation. In 2020, the musician donated half of the advance she received from the publisher of her book of poetry “Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass”. The money went to Dig Deep’s Navajo Water Project to provide the Navajo Nation with access to clean water.
