The American cycling legend, infamous for winning seven consecutive Tours de France while doped, has made headlines for some happy news: the 50-year-old Texan married the “love of his life”, yoga instructor Anna Hansen. The event certainly took place this weekend, but Armstrong waited until Tuesday, August 9, to share some snaps of it.
It was on his Instagram account that the former cyclist announced this happy news: “It was an evening full of laughter and tears of joy”, wrote in legend Lance Armstrong, with the backdrop of Château La Coste, a prestigious wine estate located in Provence. The two lovebirds said yes after 14 years of love and two children: Max (13 years old) and Olivia (11 years old). Note that Lance Armstrong also has three other children from his previous marriage.

A nice bath of joy for Lance Armstrong, who was the laughingstock of his sport after having to do a truth interview in 2013 in order to confess and explain having doped following the scandalous revelations about his victories in the Tour de France. Inevitably, his record was erased and he had to retire.
But his wife Anna always stayed by his side. “Anna, you have been my absolute rock for the past 14 years and let me be clear, I would not have survived without you”, reminded Armstrong. The couple can now look forward and hope that the difficult days are definitely behind them.
