A 44-year-old woman had an accident in the community of Völkermarkt on Thursday morning. The driver was able to free herself from the car that was lying on the roof.
The Völkermarkterin (44) was traveling on the Töllerberger Landesstraße when she suddenly got too far to the right on the road shoulder in Pörtschach in a left turn. She immediately steered hard back to the left. Because there was an embankment on the left side of the road, the accident occurred: “The vehicle fell back onto the road, where it lay on its roof and came to a standstill on the opposite lane,” says a police officer. Driver was able to free herselfWhile the car was totaled, the driver was able to free herself from the wreck. However, she still sustained injuries in the accident, which is why she had to be taken to the UKH Klagenfurt by the ambulance after first medical aid by the emergency doctor.
