Large residential project – Gleisdorf: After bankruptcy, construction site came to a standstill

The real estate company AKS-Doppelhofer from Floing is insolvent after differences with a lending bank. According to the credit protection associations AKV and KSV, it was planning a building with 17 residential units in Gleisdorf, only one of two sections is largely finished. The construction site is currently standing.

17 residential units and 33 underground parking spaces are planned at Marburger Weg 2 and 4 in Gleisdorf. Nine out of ten apartments of the first block have already been sold, and most of it should already be completed. In the second section, on the other hand, the necessary infrastructure measures have only been structurally implemented, but now the financing bank has called the loan due and the bank becomes insolvent. The liabilities amount to around one million euros, 22 creditors are affected. Many unanswered questions Now it has to be clarified whether the construction can be completed at all – and also whether the buyers of the apartments have real estate insurance. According to AKV, the construction site is currently at a standstill. Opinions differ as to whether a restructuring of the East Styrian company is sought: According to KSV, this is the case, according to AKV, however, not.
