Large-scale operation – Fusch: farmhouse caught fire – two injured

For reasons that are still unknown, an old farmhouse in Fusch an der Glocknerstraße caught fire on Friday afternoon. The fire brigade is in action. According to initial information, two residents were injured. They apparently had to go to the hospital on suspicion of smoke inhalation.

The fire is now under control, the fire brigade association said when asked by Krone. The extinguishing work was difficult. Apparently, several walls had to be torn down to get the flames under control. The fire brigades from Fusch, Bruck, Zell am See and St. Georgen im Pinzgau are on duty. The extinguishing work is likely to take some time.
