The temporary exhibition, launched in October 2020, before the second confinement, has been offering for six months an unprecedented dive into the ruthless world of finance. During a walk (allow two to three hours to discover everything if you do not opt for the guided tour), follow the adventures of the billionaire playboy who finds himself at the age of 26, after the death of his adoptive father, at the head from a $ 10 billion multinational. The multiple panels (among which the original comic strips and personal objects of the authors) arranged on the whole route allow to decipher the functioning of capitalism, financial markets or stock exchanges around the world.
We learn a lot about the work of Philippe Francq (designer) and Jean Van Hamme (author), who gave Largo Winch, brought to the screen in 2008 by Tomer Sisley, the features of two very famous American actors in the 1980s. : Kurt Russel and Patrick Schwayze. La Citéco, which also offers an interesting permanent exhibition on the economy (with an impressive tour of the old bank safes), is open until next Sunday, except Saturday 1er January, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
