LAUNCH OF THE FORGES DE GERZAT PROJECT IN FRANCE: THE ONLY 4.0 PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF RECYCLED ALUMINUM HOLLOW BODIES IN CONTINENTAL EUROPE
Europlasma, expert in pollution control solutions, announces the project to build a latest generation plant, unique in Europe, for the production of high pressure aluminum storage containers, part of which is recycled thanks to the new process developed by Europlasma Environmental Technologies in China.
This production unit, located in Cébazat (63), will be supported by an R&D center specializing in the design of new products that are always lighter and more secure in order to facilitate gas logistics and reduce the carbon footprint of gas transport. . This project, very strongly supported by the French State, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and Clermont Métropole, is part of the deployment of the second phase of Europlasma’s strategic plan (press release of 04/16/2021).
Providing nearly 200 new jobs by 2028, this ultra-modern factory, which should be delivered in 2024, will generate sales of around € 10 million from 2025 despite incompressible delays in the approval of 12-month neighboring manufactured products. The site should then reach its optimum speed and generate € 50 million in annual turnover from 2029 for an EBITDA margin of 30% and a net return of over 15%.
