Just five months ago, Laura Hofmann, 29, posted a photo on her Instagram account in which she stages her growing baby ball. With one hand she holds her tummy, she’s beaming, you can see her happiness about the pregnancy. The photo is still in her feed, but the baby has died. The Sky presenter suffered a miscarriage. The Sky presenter has now decided to take a sad step: she is leaving Sky News of her own volition.

When asked when she will be back on Sky, she writes: “I’ve decided to stop the news.” She also explains why she has to take this step. It was not easy for her, but her mental health now seems to be the most important thing. “There are moments (still too many) when I’m frankly and frankly not feeling well,” she writes. Accordingly, she now wants to take care of herself first, according to Jonas Hofmann’s wife.
