Obelix of the celebrity press, she fell into it when she was little and never really left the pot. His favorite pastime? Scour the social networks of stars to find clues about breakups or new couples still kept secret.

Out of sight, out of mind… Very little for Laura Smet and David Hallyday. Half-brother and half-sister, Johnny Hallyday’s two eldest children are still as close-knit as ever, even if we don’t see them both often. This Monday, February 5, Laura Smet proved it in photos!

The ups and downs of life can be as sad as they can bring people together. David Hallyday and Laura Smet had the bitter experience after the death of their father Johnny Hallyday in December 2017. In full mourning, Johnny Hallyday’s two eldest children started an inheritance war with their mother-in-law Laeticia, a war behind them today. If recently, the declarations of Laeticia and Jade and Joy, the girls that the couple adopted, have reignited tensions, David Hallyday and Laura Smet prefer to move forward.

Moreover, it is hand in hand that they move forward and with each other’s support that they carry out their projects in cinema or music. So rare are the photos where David Hallyday and Laura Smet pose together, the 40-year-old actress made an exception this Monday, February 5 on her Instagram account.

Nathalie Baye’s daughter posted a photo of her with her half-brother Davidwhich she describes as “best of brothers” in the caption. In the photo taken a priori in the mountains in full sun, Laura Smet tenderly embraces her big brother by the neck. A photo which made the subscribers melt as much as it made them happy. Even Estelle Lefébure validated by two red hearts in the image of Paul Belmondo, also won over by so much love united in a single photo.

If blood ties forever bind Laura Smet and David Hallyday, the love they have for their father brings them even closer. And suffice to say that the next big project to come from David Hallyday, namely a tour called Requiem for a Madman, in a nod to their famous dad, is largely supported by Laura Smet. Next November and December, David Hallyday will pay tribute to his father on stage as he announced on his Instagram account in mid-January.

If dates are planned almost every day in the four corners of France (in Compiègne, Lille, Amiens, Nice, Marseille, Nantes, or even Strasbourg and Dijon), David Hallyday has kept himself December 5 as off time, date on which the 7 years of Johnny’s disappearance will be celebrated. A milestone that he will pass, perhaps, in the company of his sister Laura…
