In an interview for our colleagues from Parisian, Laurence Boccolini opened up about her private life. She reveals in particular the reason why she decided to reveal to the public that she had divorced.
Soon a year that Laurence Boccolini is at the head of the show Everyone wants to take its place. On the occasion of this anniversary, the host has decided to engage in the columns of the Parisian. Thus, she mentioned the reason why she had decided to discuss her divorce in public: “99% of my life remains secret. But I decided from time to time to indulge myself a little bit. People are lovely to me. And my daughter is showered with gifts from the candidates. So I give some information that I find important without giving the GPS of my life”, she confides.
This interview was also an opportunity for Laurence Boccolini to come back to the criticisms she received: “I knew where I was going. That I could do it well, that I had worked for. You have to hang on and succeed in convincing”, she declares. The host is now fulfilled on France 2 : “My goal is not to be everywhere. Here, I am offered things, they talk to me, they congratulate me. I have missed it enormously over the past five years on the front page. It was heavy and long to live. I was presented as a flagship host of the channel when I was not working”.
Laurence Boccolini: “The beginnings were very hard to live with”
It prevents that Laurence Boccolini lived badly his arrival on the second channel : “The beginnings were very hard to live with because no one was really tender with me, nor with the show. It was very violent. The first week was not over and some were already saying that they were going to replace me. The attacks are much more direct and frank. I noticed this when I started. Everyone wants to take their place. What was said about me and about me, we would never have done with a man, s she annoys with our colleagues. Several animators have reported it to me.
