After a few months on BFMTV, Laurent Ruquier finally decided to leave his show after recognizing that he had not succeeded in uniting people around this new program. Since then, he has continued his work at the head of Big heads on RTL and he is preparing to carry out the investigation in the show Mask Singer, on TF1. A few days before the launch of the program which returns for a new season, Laurent Ruquier was on the set of the show Daily. Guest of Yann Barthès, he spoke in particular about his relationship with Christine Bravo. The one who counts among her long-time friends has nevertheless left The Big Heads for two consecutive years. Laurent Ruquier mentioned, Tuesday May 7, 2024, on TMC, that the reason behind Christine Bravo’s departure from the show was cheating. “She was off the show for two years becauseshe cheated. Plus she doesn’t know how to cheat!”he said.
Cheating and arguments between Laurent Ruquier and Christine Bravo
The riddle concerned a tragedy. The big heads around the table, chaired by Laurent Ruquier, had to guess the names of the people who died in an incident. “It was a question about an additional tragedy, it was about the names of the astronauts who had perished in the shuttle [Challenger]. There was a teacher among [eux]. And no one knew [son] name”he recalled to Yann Barthès.
That day, Christine Bravo was caught red-handed: “So, everyone was rowing for two and a half minutes and suddenly she said: ‘That was something.’ And there I see that she puts her cell phone away“. Problem: Christine Bravo does not accept the sanction chosen by her friend which highlights his cheating. She is extremely angry with him to the point of cutting ties. “We were angry for almost two years because of this. (…) As soon as the show finished, I said to him: ‘Okay, that’s it, we forget.’ But she, she didn’t want to forget and she was mad at me that she cheatedShe !” Since then, Christine Bravo and Laurent Ruquier have reconciled. The latter even returned in The Big Heads !
