LDC: strong increase in annual net income

(Boursier.com) — At the end of the 2022/2023 financial year, CDL posted a turnover of 5.8 billion euros, up 15.3% despite volumes down 5.6%.

This level of activity is combined with increased profitability. Current operating profit of €299.9 million corresponds to a margin of 5.1% of turnover.

The net profit attributable to the Group is 224.7 ME against 165.1 ME, an increase of 36%.

At the end of February, shareholders’ equity amounted to 1,884.9 ME against 1,713.8 ME at February 28, 2022.

Cash flow increased by 40% to 485.7 ME, generating positive free cash-flow of 237.5 ME after taking into account the investments of
272.4 ME.

The Group’s robust financial situation shows net cash of 380.6 ME compared to 181 ME as of February 28, 2022.

The Management Board will propose to the General Meeting of August 24, 2023, the payment of a dividend of 2.70 Euros per share compared to 2 Euros paid for the previous financial year.

LDC is now confident in its ability to generate growth enabling it to exceed the 6 billion euros mark in turnover.

In terms of results, for the current financial year, LDC has set itself the ambition of maintaining a current operating margin rate of around 5%.
