Following their victory against Team Oplon, LDLC OL broke their own record for consecutive LFL victories and have already qualified for the playoffs.

LFL’s Summer Split couldn’t have started better for LDLC OL which chained the victories and continued its good momentum in the Spring Split. The Lyon structure, winner of the spring segment of LFL and finalist of the European Masters is quite simply unbeaten since the resumption of the Summer Split and just chained an eleventh consecutive victory in front of Team Oplon. This convincing victory against a team that has just beaten Karmine Corp allows LDLC OL to beat its own record.

Indeed, in 2019, the structure had chained 10 straight LFL Spring Split wins which was the best streak for a league structure. If this record came close to being equaled last year by Karmine Corp at the Summer Split, she failed to surpass nine straight wins. This new LDLC OL record testifies to the team’s level of play and above all allows it to be already qualified for the LFL playoffswith seven games remaining in the regular season.

If the whole team deserves praise, one player stands out in particular and it is the unwavering Jeremy “Eika” Valdenaire which has been stringing together XXL performances in recent months. Currently at the top of the MVP rankings at the Summer Split, he is on the right track to win the title of best player of the season and above all, to stay at the top of the LFL charts. To see now how far LDLC OL will take their record but the team faces Mirage Elyandra and Solarytwo bottom-of-the-table teams well within reach of the Lyonnais.
