A bag is particularly popular with the stars
Balenciaga’s chief designer Demna Gavasalia has pulled off a fashion coup. His Le Cagole bag is currently the trend bag for celebrities like Dua Lipa, Kim Kardashian and Julia Fox – and there’s a reason for that. The designer bag is a reinterpretation of the “Motorcycle Bag” by designer Nicolas Ghesquiere, which he launched for Balenciaga in the 2000s. Even then, the bag was very popular because it represented something new. It was a break with the usual designer bags, because there was something rough and daring about it, and yet it was worn by high society.
Demna Gavasalia plays with the slightly wicked and trashy image of his bag and calls his design Le Cagole, which in French means, among other things, a vulgar, provocative woman. Kim Kardashian is a big fan of bridging the gap between luxury and ostentation and is proud to wear her new bag on her arm. German celebrities like Céline Bethmann can also benefit from the bag hype.

Under the campaign title “The perfect match”, Leni Klum presents the new collection of the Italian cult label Fila. Young, sporty and elegant – Leni and Fila are indeed “the perfect match”. The collection includes 21 different designs that are casual and sporty, but at the same time stylish and comfortable. The idea behind the collection is that everyone can find their “perfect (sneaker) match”. “I love fashion. This also includes sneakers and the many ways to round off my style or show my mood with them,” says Leni about her collaboration. “Whether fashion sneakers, retro style or running models – the collection is as diverse as my looks.” Available in all Deichmann branches from March 28, 2022.

Uniqlo and JW Anderson create holiday feelings
Attention attention! Your local sailing shop now has competition. JW Anderson and Uniqlo are continuing their cooperation, which has lasted since 2017, and are launching practical parts for spring and summer 2022 that are already being traded as practical favorites for the next sailing trip during the holidays. Because the motto of the cooperation, which will be available to buy online and in selected stores from March 24th: At home in the sea.
As part of the Japanese clothing brand’s ongoing collaboration with the London-based designer, the latest collaboration drop includes both the tailored basics we love at Uniqlo and floaty dresses in natural tones.
