After several rumors, Riot Games has officially presented the new League of Legends Worlds Cup which will debut on November 5th.
After initial leaks, Riot Games has finally announced the new Summoner’s Cup. The latter, made by Tiffany & Co., is intended simpler than its predecessor and marks the beginning of a new era for the competitive League of Legends scene.
Made of wood, stainless steel and silver, the trophy measures around 69 centimeters for a bit less than 20 kg. It took 277 hours of work for Tiffany & Co jewelers. to finalize this.
As some leaks suggested, the Summoner’s Cup will also arrive in the game on the occasion of patch 12.18 scheduled for September 20. The 2022 World Cup trophy also includes the names of previous title holders League of Legends World Champion. A documentary presenting the creation of this new trophy airs August 30.
