LEC pro player Vetheo fixes Irons in 1v5

Sunday January 23, we had a great moment of esports on the channel Twitch of Chap. vincent”VetheoBerrié, pro player at Misfits Gaming and terror of the soloQ EUW accepted an incredible challenge: to play in 1v5 against players ranked Iron (the worst possible ranking on League of Legends). On paper, it was far to be won since the MOBA remains a team game where coordination and communication have as much influence as individual skill. even had the right to extra money with additional challenges found on the job. Vetheo played the game well and we must salute his performance, even if he ended up losing against the broken arm team led by Joel Postbad of BMS. The honor of the King of Irons is safe!

Vetheo resists 5 Irons but not 5 Bronze

Vetheo didn’t really have any trouble getting rid of the 5 Iron-rated players, despite Joel’s shotcaller qualities. In 1v5 he quietly moved on all the lanes to farm as much as possible and break the mouths of his enemies… It must be said that the latter fled the fight. This strategy, which paid off at the start of the game, however, quickly showed its limits and the Misfits Gaming midlaner was able to scale without any problem to become far too big. The draft could also be singled out… Vetheo was playing Sylas and he was able to happily steal the reset ultimates present in the enemy composition (Pyke’s ultimate and Vex’s ultimate). The only time it transpired was when launching part one Malicious Iron slipped into the lobby… A writer, determined to cheat and ruin everyone’s experience. He was, however, quickly spotted and the patrol pulled him out by the collar.

Never short of ideas for high-quality content, Chap then came up with a new challenge: Vetheo against 5 players Bronze rated. The Misfits Gaming midlaner didn’t back down from this new challenge and Joel was able to bring the entire BMS team back together to save his honor. And casually, he managed like a boss. He and his teammates showed better team cohesion and they didn’t hesitate to stand up to the pro player. There weren’t many kills, but they mastered the game and can boast of beating Vetheo. As the holder of Mag Esport puts it (MGG Twitch), beating BMS is more complicated than beating Astralis!

Marex to the rescue but Marex suspicious

Marex had the opportunity to play in Team with Saken and Targamas.

To spice up the social experience even more, Chap then organized a new and ultimate challenge: a 2v5 between Vetheo accompanied by the caster Marex (former high level player and still very well ranked on LoL) against the 5 star roster of Team BMS. The bets took off again and on the chat, many had put their money on the two high elo players… But Joel and his band, reassembled like never before, outdid themselves to make the forecasts lie. With an intelligent draft full of single-target CCs (Malzahar, Vi…), the 5 bronze-ranked players forced the fight. Less strong individually but more numerous, they gradually took the advantage by imposing a high rhythm and skirmishes from right to left.

Vetheo did what he could, but he and marex ultimately couldn’t resist forever in the face of longer and longer death timers. However, we would like to check the caster’s Paypal account to verify that he has not received a small bribe by Joel Postbad… The former high-level jungler has indeed attempted some somewhat suspicious actions at times! Either way, we say a big GG to everyone for getting the shirt wet. It was not necessarily easy to accept such a challenge. We thank the Team BMS for having defended the colors of the tanned players and we are obliged to put some respect on their name.

esport-lol

After the LEC Team BDS vs Team Vitality game, we had the chance to interview Adam. Even if he was a little sad after the defeat, he remains confident for the future. He knows that everything can go very quickly in League of Legends and with his team that he likes, he will quickly try to bounce back.
