Lectra: strong growth in the first half

(Boursier.com) — The consolidated turnover of Lectra in the 1st half of 2022 is 250.8 million euros, up +71% at actual exchange rate.

Current EBITDA reached 45.2 ME (+95% at actual data) and the current EBITDA margin was 18%.

Consolidated current operating income amounted to €30.7 million (€16.2 million in the 1st half of 2021), up 90%. It includes an expense of €5.6 million for the amortization of intangible assets resulting from the acquisitions of Gerber, Neteven and Gemini, and the activity of Glengo Teknoloji.

After a non-recurring charge of €1.5 million recorded in the first half of 2022, relating to the impairment of the Group’s net assets in Russia (€0.9 million) and costs relating to the acquisition of Gerber (€0.6 ME), the operating result amounts to 29.2 ME.

Net earnings per share amounted to 0.54 euro on basic capital and 0.53 euro on diluted capital (0.26 euro on basic capital and diluted capital in the first half of 2021).

Current free cash flow stands at 14.7 ME (14.3 ME in the 1st half of 2021). This stability, and the fact that free cash flow is lower than net income, is explained by the difference of €9.3 million between the disbursements in the first half of 2022 of the variable part of compensation and the incentive bonus. for 2021 results (Lectra scope excluding the impact of acquisitions), and the same disbursements in the first half of 2021 for 2020 results, negatively affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

After a disbursement of 2.4 ME for non-recurring charges, free cash flow amounted to 12.3 ME.

Outlook

The Girondin group now expects to achieve in 2022 a turnover of between 514 and 534 ME (+33% to +38%) and a current Ebitda of between 95 and 102 ME (+46% to +57%). These new scenarios were established on the basis of the actual exchange rates recorded in the 1st half and on those as of June 30, 2022, in particular $1.04/1 euro, for the second half.
