This is a surprising collaboration between the French tech unicorn and the Italian haute couture house. The crypto wallet Ledger Nano X
will soon be entitled to its luxury case designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the brand’s flagship designer and disciple of Karl Lagerfeld. No price announced yet for this object at the forefront of sophistication, which should be released this summer.

Like other big fashion brands getting into the NFT race, Fendi is interested in the limitless potential of crypto customers, who have (sometimes) become wealthy like everyone else.

A luxury case for your Nano X

Ledger is one such French start-up whose most popular product has seen a sales increase of more than 500% since last year. With the Ledger Nano X you have the possibility to manage up to 100 different cryptos. The wallet lets you store your cryptocurrency securely using a 24-word password, making your coins impossible to steal.

Fendi’s “baguette bag” is a collector’s item, the basic model of which fetches more than 2,700 euros. The Italian brand reproduces the well-known design of fashionistas to draw its “crypto wallet case”. A second model imitates the Fendi O’Clock, a sort of loop the size of a USB key that hides your Ledger. Recommended for fashionistas who want to mix timeless elegance and decentralized finance.

Associations between the crypto world and big brands are growing. Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana have already jumped headlong into the NFT race, as this is a market that is expected to be worth more than $50 billion within a decade.
