Left recently against tax increase for the AHV

Trade unions, the SP and the Greens are not only against the retirement age of 65 for women, but also against the planned tax increase for the AHV. Things were different in Parliament.

Union leader Pierre-Yves Maillard opens the voting campaign against the AHV reform with (from left) Léonore Porchet (Greens), Mattea Meyer (SP), Vania Alleva (Unia) and Giorgio Tuti (transport staff).

“Pay more, pay less”: With this slogan, the left is fighting the “AHV 21” reform, which will be voted on September 25th. The unions, the SP and the Greens launched their campaign in front of the media on Friday. It is no longer a surprise that they oppose raising the retirement age for women from 64 to 65.
