Hans Lindberg has been playing in the Handball Bundesliga since 2007. Now the Danish right winger is entering spheres where nobody has been before him in the league: With his 2906th goal, he is the new record goalscorer. The owner of the old record is thrilled.
Hans Lindberg from Füchsen Berlin is the new record goalscorer in the Handball Bundesliga. The 41-year-old Danish right winger scored his 2906th goal against GWD Minden, surpassing the legendary Yoon Kyung-shin. The South Korean ended his HBL career in 2008 with 2905 goals.
With the 42:35 (20:15) in the home game against Minden, his foxes defended third place in the table and kept their chances of participating in the Champions League next season. For the guests, who ran out of breath at the end of a wild exchange of blows, the situation at the bottom of the table is becoming increasingly threatening.
