So it’s tonight around 8 p.m. that the new Legends of Runeterra expansion will be released. On this occasion, The great adventure is therefore revealed through a very cute trailer published by Riot Games. If this extension comes into play, it is therefore thanks to Avareturning from his wonderful trip and bringing back in his suitcases memories of his adventureand so this new expansion Beyond Bandle: The Great Adventure.
In this extension, these are 48 new cards joining Legends of Runeterrat. They had already been revealed last week and you can find them all by following this link.
Two new keywords also join the game, Link and Great. The Link keyword will allow you to deploy your units on the board like normal units or if you wish, link them to an allied unit, thus transferring the linked unit’s stats and keywords to it. This acts as Targeting and can therefore trigger certain effects such as the Chosen effect for example. The Formidable keyword will allow hitting enemies using a character’s HP value rather than its power value. However, in defense units will always retaliate with their power.
These are also 4 new champions joining Runeterra:
- gnar
- Gnar is the first champion of Runeterra to be able to alternate between level 1 and level 2. Draw cards when he is in his curious level 1 form and crush the enemy Nexus by leveling up to level 2!
- Yuumi
- The Support Champion the most original that we know so far, Yuumi brings a new dimension to the game by being able to be played as a normal unit, or by bonding with an ally to grant them bonus statistics and skills.
- Udyr
- Udyr pushes the wild spirits of the Freljord to change stance and grant him and his allies powerful bonuses. The developers had the chance to come up with their own take on its design, on which you can learn more here!
- Galio
- Vigilant protector of Demacia, Galio may not have much power, but it gives its allies bonus HP. In addition, he puts all his impressive stature to good use with the new Formidable keyword, which allows him to defeat large enemies by converting his HP into power.
Finally, it is also a new event that will be available in-game, the Arcade Battle event. He introduces Arcade and Battle Boss skins in Legends of Runeterraaccompanied by a new event pass as well as an extension of the PvE mode. By completing this Premium Event Pass, you will even be able to face an overpowered AI version of Veigar End Bosswhich will give you the ending Veigar Boss skin if you win.
