Legislative: Guillaume Peltier launches a final call for a union of rights

INTERVIEW

“The worst is to come with Emmanuel Macron. He will govern on the left and with the ultra-left”, worried this Sunday morning Guillaume Peltier, vice-president of the party of Eric Zemmour Reconquête!. To face “a Macronist bloc” and “a Mélenchonist bloc”, he launched a final appeal to the executives of the Republicans and the National Rally for a union of the rights. For the deputy of Loir-et-Cher, “it has been forty years since the right-wingers who presented themselves for the vote have been unable to agree” and that it is time to come together.

550 Reconquest candidates! in the legislative elections

Arriving fourth in the first round of the presidential election, the Reconquête! According to Guillaume Peltier, there will be 550 candidates in the legislative elections on 12th and 19th June. And to show their “good will” for a union, “we will not present a candidate either against Marine Le Pen, or against Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, or against Eric Ciotti”, assures the vice-president. “Because you know what counts, in politics as in love, is the evidence.”

While Eric Zemmour strongly criticized Marine Le Pen during his defeat in the second round of the presidential election, Guillaume Peltier tries to calm the situation by reminding the microphone of Europe 1 “that we never lose by stretching the hand and to want to put aside the quarrels of ego to save France”. “Those who refuse among the Republicans and the National Rally this strategy of unity will bear an immense responsibility,” he also warned.

Which headliner for Reconquest?

Asked about a potential candidacy of party leader Eric Zemmour, the vice-president of Reconquest! declared that all “generals must lead by example and of course they will lead by example. Whether it’s Eric Zemmour, myself, Marion Maréchal, Nicolas Bay”.

“We will see in what articulation. We need both examples of candidates, we also need generals who organize, coordinate this campaign, legislative elections”, he added.
