LEGO has just announced a very naughty new set. A great first for the manufacturer which did not yet have this license in its catalog.
LEGO releases new sets all the time and there is something for everyone. For little ones, big children, collectors, enthusiasts and even the curious. Partnerships are also commonplace at the brick merchant. Cinema, video games, pop culture, there is not a single license that has not been touched by the LEGO madness. And yet, there was something that LEGO had never done before… a pig set.

However, there is indeed a pig story in the company’s latest announcement, since it is a cult idol of children who will soon be entitled to her set: Peppa Pig (if you have children, you have already the credits at the top). LEGO has announced that it is teaming up with Hasbro to release a range of LEGO Duplo Peppa Pig sets later this year. The firm has not given us any more information at this time. No price or specific release date. We’ve only had the right to a little teaser so far.
In any case, one thing is certain, this is a great first for LEGO. Peppa Pig was still missing from its catalog. However, the franchise has been established for years now, it will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary! Yes, yes, it doesn’t make us any younger. To say that Peppa is a hit is an understatement, the cartoon is an astronomical success, the derivative products are legion and the series will soon even have the right to its attractions in famous parks.
