M6 launched this Tuesday, December 28, season 2 of Lego Masters. Unfortunately, one of the eight pairs has already been eliminated at the end of the first episode.
At Christmas, perhaps you received or offered the famous little colored bricks that have delighted young and old for almost ninety years. If you are lacking inspiration, do not panic, the (completely crazy) trials of Lego Masters might give you some ideas. And that’s good because season 2 began this Tuesday, December 28 on M6, with, at the controls, always Eric Antoine. Did you miss this first opus? Do not panic, TV-Leisure sums up the evening for you.
Eight new pairs
This year again, sixteen candidates, divided into eight pairs, will compete in new events to try to win this second season. There is thus Marine and Benjamin “the retro of the brick”, Loïc and Sandor, the best friends who met on the high school banners, Eric and Alexandre, “Swiss metalheads”, “La Ch’Team” composed of Laure and Hervé, Marin and Alexandre “the best friends”, Etienne and Christine “cool parents”, Celine and Stéphane “the colleagues that everything opposes” and finally a colorful pair made up ofAurélien and Vincent. The presentations made with the two Brick Masters, Georg schmitt and Paulina Aubey, the first test has started. And she amazed her.
A brick of immunity
In a setting worthy of a Hollywood movie, with a superb erupting volcano made of bricks, “The Adventurer of the Lost Worlds” plunged the merry men into action cinema. A small train connects eight plots – one for each duo – where you will have to create a universe rich in twists and turns. Another constraint: imagine a motorized element to trap the adventurer. The key for the winners of this event: a Golden Brick. It is a brick of immunity that will allow the pair who own it to save themselves if they feel in danger.
With their submerged city, Eric and Alexandre (“Swiss metalheads”) hit the mark with the jury and win the first round. Sadly, Laure and Hervé (“La Ch’Team) and Marin and Alexandre (“the best friends”) have less convinced the experts with, respectively, their amusement park “completely crazy“but off topic and the submerged temple in pop colors.
Build without support
The second event was not easy for our eight tandems either. With “The suspended brick”, they had to build their work from a single brick held by a wire, without being able to (re) rest on a table. Besides the “physical” aspect of working with your arms in the air, the difficulty lies in “thinking about the exterior while starting with the interior“, Explain Georg schmitt. With their “theory of levitation” embodied by a cat strapped to a buttered toast, Marine and Benjamin (“the retro of the brick”) delighted the jury. In contrast, Celine and Stéphane (“the colleagues that everything opposes”) and Aurélien and Vincent (“Technician and Artist”) did not complete the mission, either with their “Chip Dragon” or their Kraken.
The hour of the verdict has come: Laure and Hervé leave the adventure, completely “stunned” and astonished by this sentence, because of works a little too “light” and not sufficiently accomplished.
