Summer is finally here and of course the cloakroom is adjusted accordingly. Right at the front: the shoes. We spoke to the new Superga ambassador Lena Gercke, 33, about the current shoe trends at the campaign shoot.

As part of the cooperation, Lena selected four exclusive Superga shoes, which she gave her very own look. It immediately becomes clear that Lena is the perfect face for the Italian brand. She swears – in summer as in winter – by a very specific type of shoe.

So Lena says “no, thank you” to the hot trends like trekking sandals, chunky flip flops, slingback ballerinas and Co. and prefers to rely on a tried and tested classic: “I wear sneakers all summer. I’ve always been a fan of sneakers been.” And what does she like about the classics among shoes? “I don’t think you can go wrong with sneakers.
When it comes to shoes, I never really had any real faux pas, because I really stuck with my classic sneakers. “

And she’s not entirely wrong: sneakers are an integral part of our wardrobes in both summer and winter. They always look cool, are comfortable and fit almost any of our favorite outfits. Whether you give a summer dress a casual vibe or create the perfect everyday outfit styled with mom jeans: sneakers can do it. But there is also an endless selection of sneakers.
Lena prefers to choose the white version with a platform sole among her four curated supergas. This gives the classic shoe an upgrade that is suitable for everyone: n of us. Also nice: thanks to the platform heel, which also looks absolutely cool, you can easily conjure yourself up a few centimeters – and all without the help of an uncomfortable or impractical high shoe.
