The new single from Lena Meyer-Landrut, 32, will be released this week. Fans of the singer can look forward to the release of her new song “Straitjacket” on Friday (October 27th). Lena announced on Instagram that the new track can now be pre-ordered. On the cover of the single she also presents herself in an unusual look: the singer’s trademark is actually her dark brown hair. However, the photo shows her with a long blonde braid.

With her unusual hair color, Lena wears an extravagant, asymmetrical dress in light blue tones – trimmed with velvet and fringes. Her fingernails shimmer in bright silver, while a simple gold ring sits on one hand. The singer’s make-up is in subtle nude and copper tones.

On her TikTok channel and in her Instagram story, Lena Meyer-Landrut is already providing her fans with a short audio sample of the new single. She performs part of the track into the camera in an XXL hoodie. She writes on Instagram: “I’m excited and looking forward to it.”

In mid-October, the singer surprised her fans with the news that she would be going on tour again. “It’s official. The 2024 tour is coming and I’m sooooo excited wow,” she wrote to her post, with which she also announced the specific dates for her concerts.

All six concerts in Germany

Her “Lena Live 2024” tour kicks off on June 1st in Leipzig (Haus Auensee), followed by Berlin (Tempodrom) on June 2nd, Hamburg (Stadtpark) on June 3rd, Bielefeld (Lokschuppen) on June 5th and Cologne (Palladium) on June 6th. The grand finale will take place on June 7th in Dresden (Weißer Hirsch concert venue).

In June 2023, the singer will release her new single “What I Want” – a harbinger of her new album, which is scheduled to be released in early 2024. With the song she wants to “encourage listeners not to be afraid of change, but to see it as a new opportunity.”
