Lena Meyer-Landrut: she has "bad news" for her fans

On Instagram, Lena Meyer-Landrut confirms what is probably a bad assumption for her fans, but one that many have had for some time.

Lena Meyer-Landrut (29, "Thank You") has reported "bad news" to her fans. In a short clip the singer explains on Instagram: "As you can probably imagine, the tour cannot take place in November." But she wants to "transform the whole thing into something good".

Fresh music, new dates

Meyer-Landrut is often in the studio right now, writing new songs, she explains. She would like "to finish producing this new music next year and then come up with a new album – and then go on tour with the new album with you."

In order to avoid any risk from the corona pandemic, this tour is now planned for 2022. "Until then, stay healthy, take good care of each other and I'm looking forward to everyone who will be there," the singer wrote about her contribution. For everyone who wants to keep their pre-ordered tickets, she has thought of a "little goodie". But she has not yet revealed what exactly she is talking about.

Meyer-Landrut has already announced the new tour dates. It should start on June 2nd, 2022 in Leipzig. Appearances in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt am Main and Berlin follow.
