Lenovo organized a briefing with the press last week to present several new features relating to its Yoga range. The Chinese manufacturer is capitalizing in particular on the new bases laid for this line a few months ago.
In addition to the line of laptops updated to embed the new processors from Intel and AMD, the Chinese brand has notably drawn its Yoga AIO 7, a new version of its all-in-one PC, equipped with seductive specifications.
Lenovo Yoga AIO 7: a smart and powerful all-in-one
Like its predecessor, the Yoga AIO 7 adopts a design that allows it to easily switch to portrait mode in order to stream content from a smartphone, for example. There are also two 5 W speakers integrated into the foot and signed JBL. Lenovo ensures that this new AIO has a reduced footprint (614.6 x 475.1 x 242 mm for 12.3 kg all the same) compared to the old version. So it should take up a little less space on the desk.
Obviously, if the design evolves slightly it is especially inside the chassis that things become interesting. AMD is swapping the Ryzen 4000 and Nvidia RTX 2060 chips that have been found so far for the latest generation components from AMD. And the device is this year rather well endowed.

There will thus be found up to a Ryzen 7 6800H on the CPU side, coupled with a maximum of 32 GB of RAM (LPDDR5). The graphics part can be based on an AMD Radeon RX 6600M 8 GB, which should allow good versatility on a daily basis. The screen remains on the other hand at the same level as in the past, at least more or less. There is a 27-inch IPS panel in Ultra HD definition. Lenovo mentions 95% support for the DCI-P3 gamut for this LCD panel, whose brightness can go up to 400 nits.
The Lenovo Yoga AIO 7 will hit the market at the end of June, starting at 1499 euros.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i: the ultraportable all in curves and chrome
Let’s continue with another interesting novelty, the Yoga Slim 9i. Lenovo is proud to announce that it is the first laptop in the world to be certified ” carbon-neutral “. In other words, the CO2 emissions emitted for its manufacture are fully offset by the brand.
The device takes over the new design of the Yoga range, introduced at the beginning of the year. You can find more or less the best there. Two options are available for the screen: it will be possible to opt for either a 2.8K panel at 90 Hz, or for an Ultra HD panel at 60 Hz. In both cases, it will be an OLED screen 14-inch touchscreen, with a 16:10 ratio, 400 nits of luminance and DisplayHDR 500 True Black certified.
On the other hand, the device could prove to be fragile, with its glass cover and its chrome surfaces, elegant but potentially sensitive to scratches. Inside this classy chassis is housed anyway an Intel Alder Lake processor (we will go up to Core i7-1280P) coupled with a maximum of 32 GB of RAM in LPDDR5 at 5600 MHz. More incidentally, Lenovo announces the addition of a 50% larger trackpad than in the past and the transition to a 1080p webcam.
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i will also arrive at the end of June, from 1899 euros.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro X / 7i Pro X: a stylish creative ultraportable
In the slew of new ultraportable PCs announced in early May by Lenovo, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro X / 7i Pro X (AMD or Intel versions, respectively) also stands out. It’s a 14.5-inch laptop designed for creatives who need maximum power on the go. The device is therefore limited to contained measurements (328.2 x 221.4 x 15.9 mm for 1.45 kg) and embeds the latest “H” chips from Intel and AMD (up to Core i7-12700H or Ryzen 9 6900HS), coupled if necessary with a GeForce GTX 1650 or an RTX 3050 from Nvidia. On the RAM side, Lenovo will allow us to opt for a maximum of 32 GB of RAM (LPPR5 at 6000 or 6400 MHz depending on the configuration chosen).
This small powerhouse does not squander on the screen either. We can rely on a 3K IPS panel (touch or not) in 16:10 format, capable of going up to 120 Hz for 400 nits maximum brightness. Lenovo promises fine tuning (Delta E less than 1) and full support for the DCI-P3 spectrum. This screen is for the rest surmounted by a Full HD webcam, common to most of the Yoga 2022 range.
The Slim 7 Pro X, on the other hand, is a little disappointing in terms of connectivity, with “only” two Thunderbolt 4 sockets, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a headphone socket and an HDMI 2.0 output (and not 2.1) on the Intel version. The AMD version even completely ignores the HDMI output in favor of an additional USB-A port. In both cases, no SD card reader is provided… which is a bit of a shame for the target audience.
The Yoga Slim 7 Pro X (AMD version) will arrive at retailers at the end of June, starting at 1199 euros. Its cousin the Slim 7i Pro X (Intel version) will be available over the same period, from 1299 euros.
