That’s it, Lenovo has finally formalized its Legion GB, its portable console under Windows 11 with an impressive technical sheet. A product that will be accompanied by Glasses and headphones, but the manufacturer has other things to present, including a very expensive laptop and a 3D screen.
Without further ado, here are all the other announcements from Lenovo :
- Lenovo Legion 9i: the new king of the Lenovo Legion brand
A new high-end gaming laptop expands the lineup. THE Lenovo Legion 9i is the first-ever 16-inch gaming laptop with an integrated liquid cooling system. It was designed to meet the expectations of the most demanding gamers and creators and joins the Legion Pro and Legion Slim series announced earlier this year.
The Lenovo Legion 9i features a 13th Gen Intel® Core i9-13980HX processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics, plus 64GB of dual-channel DDR5 RAM overclocked to 5600MHz or 32GB of dual RAM channel overclocked to 6400 MHz.
The Legion 9i features a 3.2K Lenovo Puresight Mini-LED display, with a 16:10 aspect ratio and variable refresh rate up to 165Hz. The screen-to-body ratio is 94%. On the storage side, it offers up to 2 TB of 4th generation PCIe SSD.
But the main novelty of the Legion 9i is the integrated liquid cooling system Legion Coldfront, the first of its kind in a 16-inch gaming laptop, designed to unleash the full power of the Legion 9i and take full advantage of the 230W thermal envelope. Developed in conjunction with Cooler Master, the system runs on GPU VRAM. It triggers when the GPU temperature reaches 84° Celsius to cool it down. It is coupled with the AI-optimized air cooling system which has three fans and includes 6333 air intakes. To offset the added weight of the liquid cooling system, Lenovo engineers designed an innovative new cover made of forged carbon chips. Not only does this save weight, but the manufacturing process means that each copy of the Lenogo Legion 9i has a unique pattern.
The Lenovo Legion 9i is available in preview today on the site of Lenovo.
To complete its range of accessories, Lenovo also offers two new backpacks: the Lenovo Legion 16″ Gaming Backpack GB700 (20 liters) and the Lenovo Legion 16″ Gaming Backpack GB400 (18 liters).
- ThinkVision 27 3D: A 3D display for creators
Within its Think brand, Lenovo is introducing a new screen aimed at professional content creators by offering it an immersive 3D viewing solution. New ThinkVision 27 3D monitor is a 27-inch, 2D/3D-enabled, glasses-free display offering smooth 3D effects and real-time eye tracking. The 3D monitor projects two independent 4K images to the user’s eyes, so each eye sees the subject from a slightly different angle, providing crisp stereo vision and depth perception. The ThinkVision 27 3D Monitor also features built-in speakers and connectivity options including a USB-C docking station and modular camera mount.
Combined with 3D Explorer software, this new ThinkVision monitor forms a complete ecosystem for 3D creation and visualization. The software equips creators with useful tools such as a 3D player to view videos and files with 3D effects, support for design and productivity software, and a software development kit (SDK) for allow developers to create 3D applications. New features will be added over time to improve and extend the experience.
Still within the Think brand, Lenovo is also introducing an update to the Lenovo Device Managerincluding new energy management features, as well as a series of accessories for hybrid work:
- Two new helmets: the Lenovo Wired VOIP Headset and the Lenovo Wired ANC Headset Gen 2.
- Two bags: the ThinkPad Professional 16inch Backpack Gen 2 and the ThinkPad Professional 16inch and 14inch Topload Gen 2.

- THE Lenovo Legion 9i with Intel processor will be available from October 2023, from €4,499 (including VAT);
- The gaming backpack Lenovo Legion 16″ GB700 will be available from October 2023, from €79.99 (including VAT);
- The Lenovo Gaming Backpack Legion 16″ GB400 will be available from October 2023, from €59.99 (including VAT);
- The monitor Lenovo ThinkVision 27 3D will be offered from €2,999 (VAT included) and will be available from February 2024;
- THE Lenovo Wired VOIP Headset will start from €49.99 (VAT included) and will be available from October 2023;
- THE Lenovo Generation 2 Wired ANC Headphones will start from €129.99 (VAT included) and will be available from October 2023;
- Lenovo Device Manage sera will be available in EMEA from November 2023;
- THE Lenovo ThinkPad 16-inch Generation 2 Business Backpack will be offered from €84 (VAT included) and will be available from December 2023;
- THE Lenovo ThinkPad Gen 2 Business Cases for 16-inch and 14-inch laptops will start from €79 (VAT included) and €54 (VAT included) respectively and will be available from December 2023.
