Lenovo unveils its new Legion range, gaming laptops as sober as they are powerful

Lenovo renews its famous range of gaming laptops Legion with no less than five new models.

These new products share common points: a sober and refined design with a relatively thin chassis, and a rather solid technical sheet for gaming use.

Lenovo Legion 770i for maximum power

At the forefront of this new range we find the Lenovo Legion 770i. This displays a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz, which supports HDR400 and NVIDIA G-Sync, for better image quality. together.

Inside, there are a lot of people, with an NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti laptop graphics card, a Core i7-12800HX processor, 16 GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 4,800 MHz and a 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD. everything is offered in a chassis 37% thinner than its predecessor, for a featherweight of 2.3 kg, 11 hours of maximum autonomy and Windows 11 in Home version 64 bits installed natively.

This model is available in a “Slim” version which includes an RTX 3060, a Core i7-12700H, but which retains the same screen, the same RAM and the same SSD, with a battery with a maximum autonomy reduced to 9 hours. Who says “Slim”, however, says a similar design but slightly thinner and lighter than its more powerful counterpart.

Lenovo Legion 570 for a fairly muscular entry-level

The three other models are under the aegis of the denomination 570 and inevitably show themselves to be less well equipped, but also logically more accessible.

First of all, the 570i Pro still packs a 16-inch WQXCA IPS display, this time with an RTX 3050 Ti, a Core i7-12700H processor, 16 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and a more modest 512 GB M.2 SSD. The battery still sees its autonomy reduced by an hour compared to the Slim 770i. Its dimensions and weight are similar to its bigger brothers, still with Windows 11 Home 64 bits.

The 570 Pro displays more or less the same elements as its counterpart 570i Pro. However, it trades an Intel processor for a Ryzen 7 6800H, and its battery this time increases to a maximum autonomy of 11 hours.

Finally, we have the youngest soberly called Lenovo Legion 570. Clearly the entry level of the new Legion, it must be satisfied with a 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS screen. It also features an RTX 3050 Ti, a Ryzen 5 6600H and remains at the same level as the other 570 models on the RAM and M.2 SSD side. Its battery also takes a hit with a 5.8-hour battery life, still with Windows 11 at the controls.

If we know the technical specifics of the new Lenovo Legion range in great detail, we are still missing the most important information: their price and their release date. Information that Lenovo has not yet disclosed at this time. It will therefore be necessary to show a little patience before committing to the new Legion.
