Leonor of Spain: 14-year-old attracts everyone's attention when visiting parliament

The Spanish royal couple Felipe (51) and Letizia (47) took their two daughters Infantin Leonor (14) and Princess Sofia (12) with them to the parliamentary opening in Spain's capital Madrid on Monday. Leonor of Spain in particular stood out among the Spanish royals.

While mother Letizia and sister Sofia put on dresses in light beige and black and white, the crown princess wore a bright red robe and matching jacket. To go with this, she opted for ballerinas of the same color with straps. Her long hair was open. She watched the ceremony in Parliament attentively, at which her father King Felipe VI. made a speech.

The Spanish heir to the throne gave her first important speech in October 2019: shortly before her 14th birthday, she spoke at the Princess of Asturias Award. She mastered the public speech on the occasion of the award of some high-ranking Spanish awards with confidence. On her 13th birthday, she spoke up for the first time and read out a few sentences from the constitution.
