Leroy Merlin understood that connected lighting was the easiest first step in home automation. So the DIY brand is accelerating in this area.

After launching the first connected bulbs and an Enki Connect box to facilitate installation, Leroy Merlin is adding 14 new lighting references under the Lexman brand to its catalog.

Bluetooth bulbs easy to use even without internet

To satisfy all desires and all needs, the range is enriched with a wide variety of bases (standard E27, the smallest E14 or GU10 for spotlights). Among the shapes offered, we will find globes, flames, classic round bulbs, in amber, transparent or white glass, and even quite vintage Edison models.

Leroy Merlin specifies that the new models include white versions (warm to cold), with variable colors, and all benefit from an adjustable light intensity.

But the biggest advantage of these 14 bulbs is to be equipped with Zigbee 3.0 technology and Bluetooth in parallel. You can install them instead of your current bulbs and they will work immediately. You just have to pair them and configure them in the Enki application, then easily control them in Bluetooth.

No worries if your internet connection is cut. These bulbs also work with a classic Enki box, the Enki Connect box dedicated to lighting, or any other Zigbee 3.0 compatible box which will provide other functional advantages.

Voice control with the help of voice assistants, setting up user scenarios and remote control are also possible. Note that the Enki application also benefits from an update with the arrival of the “Zone and Group” function to control all the lights in a room or a defined group of bulbs in the house. You can then decide on the intensity of the lighting, its color if necessary or any other setting.

Prices and availability of Lexman bulbs

The new Lexman bulbs are available in Leroy Merlin stores and on the brand’s website from 10.90 euros. The first white LED models are sold from 9.90 euros. At Philips Hue, the reference in the field, the range of Bluetooth bulbs starts at 15 euros per unit.
